Mark V. Carlson, MD
Dr. Carlson is a Family Practitioner at Butler County Clinic, P.C. in David City, NE and at Shelby Clinic, P.C. in Shelby, NE.  He is affiliated with  the Butler County Health Care Center in David City, NE and Annie Jeffery Memorial Hospital in Osceola, NE.  He is certified with the American Academy of Family Practice and is licensed in the State of Nebraska.  Dr. Carlson received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1984 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.  He completed his internship in 1985 and his residency in 1987, both at the University of Kansas Medical Center. 

Gerald W. Luckey, MD

Dr. Luckey is a Family Practitioner at Butler County Clinic, P.C. in David City, NE and at Shelby Clinic, P.C. in Shelby, NE.  He is affiliated with Butler County Health Care Center in David City, NE and Annie Jeffery Memorial Hospital in Osceola, NE.  He is certified with the American Academy of Family Practice with qualifications in Geriatric Medicine, and is licensed in the State of Nebraska.  Dr. Luckey received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1973, and completed his internship in 1974, both at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.  He is the Medical Director of St. Joseph Villa and Heritage of David City (David Place) and is a member of the following professional organizations: American Medical Association, Nebraska Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Directors Association, Medical Director for the Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians 2005-2008, Nebraska Family Physician of the Year - 2003, and Nebraska Medical Directors Association.

 Matthew P. Summers, MD
Dr. Summers grew up on a farm in Gibbon, Nebraska.  He attended Chadron State College receiving his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences in 2001.  Dr. Summers received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in May, 2004 and completed his residency at North Colorado Family Medicine in Greely, Colorado.  His residency there focused on obstetric procedures and rural medicine.  He is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics, Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation.  Dr. Summers holds professional memberships to the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Victor J. Thoendel, MD
Dr. Thoendel is a Family Practitioner at Butler County Clinic, P.C. in David City, NE.  He is affiliated with the Butler County Health Care Center in David City, NE.  He is certified with the American Academy of Family Practice, is licensed in the State of Nebraska, and is an FAA Examiner.  Dr. Thoendel received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1970 and completed his internship in 1971 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.

 

Leah J. Hays, PA-C

Leah Hays, PA-C, is a native of Bartlett, Nebraska.  He received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.  In 2003, Leah spent three months at the Butler County Clinic, P.C. as a student before receiving her Physician Assistant's degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.  After receiving her degree, Leah spent three years practicing medicine at the Crete Area Medical Center in Crete, Nebraska.  While in Crete, Leah's responsibilities included covering the emergency room and helping to staff clinics in Crete and Wilbur.  Leah joined the Butler County Clinic, P.C. on May 1, 2007.  She enjoys the diversity of family practice along with preventative medicine and women's health.
