Prescriptions

All prescriptions should be reviewed with your physician at the time of your appointment.  Before your appointment, please make a list of all the medicines you take, both prescription and over-the-counter, and bring it with you. If it is more convenient , just bring in your prescription bottles.

Prescription Refills

If you need a prescription refill, please call your pharmacy first. Your prescription will be refilled according to your physician's directions.

If the pharmacy directs you to call your doctor, please call in to speak with one of our nurses (Option 3).  To expedite your refill, please provide the name and strength of your medicine, how often you take it and the name of your pharmacy.  If your insurance company requires prior authorization of your medication, please provide your insurance information. Most refill requests will be processed within 24 hours.  If your medication requires prior authorization, processing can take up to 72 hours.

***Please Do Not Wait Until Your Prescription is Empty***

Antibiotics and some other types of medications are not prescribed over the phone.  You must first see a physician who will evaluate your condition and discuss your treatment options with you.
