Dr. Luckey has been active in the Nebraska Academy of Family Physician, Nebraska Medical Association, and South East Rural Physician Alliance for many years. He is a member of the American Medical Association.

Personal Life
Dr. Luckey’s immediate family enjoys water sports at their lake cabin in the summer. He grew up in rural Columbus Nebraska and graduated from Columbus High School. He taught middle school before starting medical school.

He has been married to Bonnie for over 50 years, and they have three children and eight grandchildren. His mother is still living at the age of 97.

Outside Interests & Hobbies
Exercise, running, biking, gardening and landscaping are all enjoyed by Dr. Luckey.

The long-term relationship with several generations of families have been very gratifying. I enjoy all aspects of family medicine including the wide variety of challenges of staying current with the rapid changes in medicine and will continue to occur in healthcare advances.
